In today's rapidly advancing technological landscape, the issue of electronic waste (e-waste) has become increasingly critical. As consumers, businesses, and industries embrace the latest electronic gadgets and devices, the environmental impact of obsolete or discarded electronics cannot be ignored.
It is imperative for people to be aware of e-waste and its consequences, as improper disposal can lead to hazardous materials contaminating the environment and endangering human health.
Here's a look into the physical & digital process of the Digital Dump Sustainable Quarterly. The entire magazine entail multiple photoshoots with a DSLR/Polaroid Cameras, scanning photos, figuring out how to connect a laptop to an old TV, and defining a visual system that was cohesive.
Take a look at some of the moments that helped turn this concept into a reality. From the photoshoots to the sketching to the illustrating. All of these are represented throughout the Digital Dump Sustainable Quarterly.
The process of creating an entire quarterly magazine with visual and written content taught me a lot about balance. It is important to acknowledge that viewers need to be hooked by an image but you make them stay with the information that comes afterward.
I was able to go through the process of planning out all the content ad conducting interviews with people to make this become a reality. I also had the pleasure of seeing the behind the scenes of what it takes to put a editorial magazine into production for a large audience.
